Purchasing process and purchasing information

Purchase of products and services for use in our products is controlled through documented procedures. Ordering is based on stock levels of raw materials and components used in our manufacturing operations and maintenance and production planning. Purchase order are placed only with approved suppliers as far as possible. There is a defined procedure for the approval and monitoring of suppliers with records being kept of their status and any evaluations performed.

Verification of purchased product

The verification of purchased product is defined in monitoring and measurement of product procedure. Our customers never verify any product in our supplier premises.

Control of production and service provision

Control of our manufacturing processes is managed though

  • The availability of product/process characteristics
  • The availability of work instructions as necessary.
  • The use of suitable equipments & tools etc.
  • The availability and use of monitoring and measurement.
  • The implementation of release, delivery and post delivery activities.
Validation of processes for production and service provision

None of the processes, which are operated within the company, could be classified, as 'special processes' where in their outputs can not be verified by subsequent monitoring or measurement.

Identification and tractability

Incoming materials and finished goods are identified by identification tag and location during storage. During various stage of manufacturing, the product is identified through identification tag/ marking.

Preservation of product

All products are handled, stored, packaged and delivered to the destination in a manner, which helps to prevent damage.

Control of measuring and monitoring devices
  • All measuring and monitoring devices used to verify conformity of our products are identified through list of measuring instruments.
  • These instruments are calibrated against national or international standards and controlled in order to ensure their suitability for use.
  • When required, they are adjusted by trained personnel and at other times, safeguarded from such adjustments.
  • These are protected from damage and deterioration during handling, maintenance and storage.
  • Records are maintained of all calibration.
